Ging: "The beauty of the 1k Conversations is that there is no Jerry: "Indeed, we need to arm ourselves with 'solid' facts and liberating interpretation of law and history. I think we should add in the framework offered by Tony the broader immigration history in the US (Levi's question) and the Filipino immigration history to the US. There are enough good books covering these two strands of history. Also, we should add the dimension of human rights and civil rights in the discussion of immigration. I think moving the KOC and KOR projects forward will give us more experience in refining our approach in conducting house conversations."
Jolynne: "Thank you for inviting Joanne and me to the 1K conversations meeting last night to represent Operation Mango. Attached is the Operation Mango report for your perusal and use. Please free to ask Joanne and I any questions you may have about the report. Our group intended this report to be helpful to groups like AFIRE in the interest [of empowering] our communities. Joanne and I look forward to the next meeting."
